Defining Creativity
Creativity is the ability that not only to understand the other perspective, but generate another point of view. You can't be "creative" unless you are doing something , you might to want create something with a purpose is what it means to be creative. In order to be creative, you do not have to "invent something new".
Furthermore ,that is a simple act of being creative and it is a natural instinctual desire that stems from our original blueprint as shown in below
Our right brain accesses that original blueprint enabling direct connection with Source energy such as rhythm , colour, shapes,maps,imagination and daydreaming .In modern days the emphasis is on superior access to the left brain hemisphere is the logical rational mind .The Left brains analytical responds overides the right brains creative approach and we are left proclaiming ! Oh I cant possible do that .." , That being creative , picking up a brush and bursting with joyful creativity expressions, picking up a pen and letting creative ideas flow , strumming a guitar to let creative music emerge from the unconscious ...
Creativity is a central source of meaning in our lives. Most of the things that are interesting, important, and human are the result of creativity. What makes us different from apes such as our language, values, artistic expression, scientific understanding, and technology. It is the result of individual ingenuity that was recognized, rewarded, and transmitted through learning. When we're creative, we feel we are living more fully than during the rest of life,
so that we need to exploring the creativity in our everyday lives...
I am always thinking about creating . My future starts when i wake up every morning . Everyday i find something creative to do with my life.
This is the exercise that we did during the class . Lecturer Radzi want us to draw your partner an image to represent your partner . My partner drew me as shown in below . It is described about me . I felt very bad for this image ,just not really same like me .
Dictionary.com defines the noun, creativity, as ‘having the ability or power to create’ as in the phrase ‘human beings are creative animals’.
It also says creativity is ‘characterized by originality and expressiveness.’
Based on the dictionary definition and what has been published in academic literature, I describe creativity as 'the process of coming up with original ideas and putting them into action'.
Creativity can also be defined as a main tool to develop innovation. Creativity can be looked at by where it arises. There are four key ways that something creative can happen:
- Generating something wholly new
- Combining ideas in a new way
- Finding new uses for existing ideas
- Taking existing ideas to new people.
